Skippy stellar lines, both Riata and RL.  Her sire was a well known reining horse in Riata and her paternal and maternal grandsire is a very well known cow horse in RL.  Skippy has incredible talent in reining, cutting, team penning, and her favorite event of all: working cow horse.  She loves to get the cows moving, cherishing the fact she knows what they are thinking.  Shortly before her retirement, we started using her for Freestyle Reining, which she excelled at.

Skippy more than proved her worth during HOCK, so we have decided to retire her and let her live a more leisurly life when we came to Riata.  In her first showing as a broodmare, she blew away the competition - letting everyone know that while she may be retired from the cow events, she still has the talent to excell at halter.  Look for her showing lightly in RPHA Color Classes - she's well on her way to a ROM!  Her foals are very sought after and we always look forward to this mare's foals!
