SPIRIT OF KOKOPELLI RANCH SALES CONTRACT 
(Please note this will be sent to prospective owners, horses will not be sold without this contract being signed.  I send this out - do not send it to me!) 

Upon purchasing (Horse) and signing this contract, (New Owner) agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this contract. (New Owner) is hereby referred to as 'New Owner' in this contract. (Horse) is hereby referred to as ‘Horse or Pony' in this contract. 

1. The New Owner may not change the Horse or Pony's name nor remove the SKR prefix(if applicable) without prior permission from Megan Lundquist. 
2. The New Owner agrees to care for the Horse or Pony properly. The Horse or Pony must be fed adequately, have vet checks regularly, have Farrier visits regularly, be groomed daily, be wormed, be vaccinated and looked after according to their needs. 
3. New Owner may not change Horse or Pony’s discipline without prior consent from Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch.
4. If the New Owner, at any time, wishes to sell the Horse or Pony, they must give Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch first option of purchasing the Horse or Pony. Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch will pay the asking price, if considered reasonable. 
5. If the New Owner, at any time, leaves Riata completely, the New Owner must allow Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch to repurchase the horse. 
6. The Horse or Pony CAN NOT be aged without prior permission from Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch. 
7. Horse or Pony may not be killed off without prior consent from Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch.
8. It is requested that the New Owner sends updates when possible of how the Horse or Pony is going. 
9. If Horse or Pony is bred, Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch must be notified and foal's information sent for our records. 
10. If at any time, the New Owner is found not to be complying with these conditions, Spirit Of Kokopelli Ranch will take back the Horse or Pony and is not liable to refund purchase price.
