Mister has come a long way since I first met him. When I first saw Mister, he was underweight, scrawny, and looked nothing like the champion stallion he is today. I was the manager of Prairie Rose Horse Rescue, and Mister came under my care in mid-1998.  After months of gentle care and slow rehabilitation, Mister began to blossom into a stallion who would take the show ring by storm.  When it came time to put him up for adoption, I simply couldn't bear to part with this amazing stallion I had come to love.

I really think that Mister appreciates me keeping him, because he has done very well for me in the show ring.  He excels in western pleasure, but also competes in horsemanship, western riding, and showmanship.  And his stunning conformation allows him to win in halter classes.

Mister is not a tempermental stallion and has never given me any reason to use a stud chain on him in any way.  And he passes his tempermant onto his foals, all of which are very gentle.  And all of them have done very well in the show ring.  Even though Mister competes in pleasure classes, his bloodlines on the bottom allow him to produce several very good cow horses, when out of a cow horse mare.
